AmCham recognises MARS Bioimaging for building partnerships with the US

AmCham New Zealand, representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce, have recently announced the finalists in their annual awards. MARS Bioimaging is proud to be listed as a finalist in the Bilateral Connections with the USA category alongside BioPacificPartners and Wharf42. The Bilateral Connections award recognises companies who have made significant contributions to strengthening ties between New Zealand and the United States.

MBI and its US-based bilateral relationships have produced several achievements, opening a positive track for similar companies in New Zealand. The US institutes recognise that MBI has significant potential for academic, scientific and industrial researches in the areas of bone health, cancer research, pharmaceuticals and homeland security.

For NZ, the strategic partnerships with the USA has enabled MARS technologies to access a broader range of medical researchers and provided NZ companies with international credibility as MBI takes on new markets like China and India. For the USA, the strategic partnerships enabled it to access a broad multi-disciplinary team involving engineers, physicists, mathematicians, biologists, radiologists, and surgeons.
