MARS Vision is the software used for visualizing and analyzing datasets produced by the MARS software toolchain. It runs on a powerful custom-built workstation PC that is provided with every MARS scanner. The supplied workstation runs Microsoft Windows 10. Please note that this software is not intended for clinical use. MARS Vision is capable of simultaneously displaying up to 8 energy and/or material channels in 2D or 3D. MARS Vision supports the DICOM file format and provides a wide variety of measurement and data processing tools. The user interface of MARS Vision is shown in Figure 1 left. The “magic lens” tool can be used to cut away occluding tissues and reveal hidden regions of interest. This is shown in Figure 1 right. Click on the video to view a wrist scan in 3D. The bone can be visualized with and without soft tissues (red) present.
